As from 1 January 2018, ICBC Luxembourg Branch (the “Bank”) will generally no longer offer accounts (including current accounts and deposit accounts) to individual clients. Starting from the same day, safe deposit boxes and loans against pledging deposits will not any more be available as the Bank’s product offering.

Existing relationships with individual clients will be terminated in accordance with the contractually agreed provisions.

The Bank will enhance its business with corporate clients, but not any longer make the retail banking business a part of its business strategy.
