Dear Valued Customers,

There is an increase in phishing scams involving short message service (“SMS”) targeting FI’s customers.

We would like to advise and remind you on the following tips to help keep your account safe:

1. Do not provide any personal information, bank account details (e.g. Internet Banking Credentials, Password, PIN, OTP or 3-digit CVV/CVC) and credit card/debit card details on suspicious websites or with the callers.

2. Do not open attachments or click on links of suspicious emails or SMS.

3. Avoid online banking in public areas such as cyber-cafes.

4. Enter the full URL or domain name of ICBC Singapore www.icbc.com.sg on your browser address bar.

5. Select passwords that are difficult to guess and change them often.

6. Log off each time when you complete online banking activities.

7. Install firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware in your computer. Update them regularly.

8. Call us immediately at 6369 5588 (7*24 customer service hotline) to report any suspicious activities or if you suspect you are a victim of phishing or fraud.

ICBC Singapore or government agencies will never ask for your financial details or request you to perform fund transfer to another account.
