Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Europe) S.A. Amsterdam Branch (ICBC Amsterdam Branch) as part of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Europe) S.A., a bank incorporated under the laws of Luxembourg, is a member of the deposit guarantee scheme under Luxembourg laws.

We would like to inform you that the entry into force of the Luxembourg law of 18 December 2015 on the failure of credit institutions and certain investment firms (transposing the Directive 2014/49/EU on deposit guarantee schemes) brought about changes in the architecture of the deposit guarantee scheme in Luxembourg.

The “Fonds de garantie des dépôts Luxembourg” (FGDL) has taken over the functions exercised in the past by the non-profit association “Association pour la Garantie des Dépôts, Luxembourg” (AGDL).

In general, all individual and corporate depositors of ICBC Amsterdam Branch are covered by the FGDL. Exclusions for certain deposits are stated on the website www.fgdl.lu dedicated to information on the depositors.
