A devastating quake disaster took place in Wenchuan area of Sichuan province on May 12 and caused huge damage to both lives and properties. "The disaster was merciless but our people do care", to serve its customers in disaster-affected areas, ICBC, based on its service idea of "We will do everything we can do for our cardholders", comes to the decision to provide deferral repayment service, surcharge exemption from non-local cash withdraws, and surcharge exemption from report of loss for the Peony Credit Cardholders in major disaster-affected areas including Chengdu, Deyang, Mianyang, Guangyuan, and Ya'an in Sichuan province (hereinafter referred to as Peony Credit Cardholders in disaster-affected areas in Sichuan).
The Peony Credit Cardholders in disaster-affected areas who are unable to make the repayment on time can dial 95588 service hotline before June 30 to apply for deferral repayment, and ICBC will exempt the customers from late fees, interests, and over credit-limit expense fees generated from the deferral repayment. Upon onsite illustration to ICBC business offices while withdrawing cash, customers with the mission to proceed to the disaster-affected areas in Sichuan to conduct disaster-relief and the customers in disaster-affected areas can be exempted from surcharges.
Peony Credit Cardholders in disaster-affected areas in Sichuan can apply for report of loss with free of surcharge.

In addition to measures of the above special service and favorable service, ICBC also provides you with following four humanized service measures as a package:
1.Emergency response report of loss service. The emergency response report of loss service provided for the Peony Credit Cardholders in disaster-affected areas in Sichuan who are unable to provide their own ID but reported the loss of card to ICBC business office.
2.Cash withdraw without a card service. The temporarily opened service for cardholders to withdraw cash without a card upon showing their own ID according to the practical situation of the people in disaster-affected areas in Sichuan.
3.Emergency cash withdraw service. The emergency cash withdraw service provided for both Peony Credit Cardholders and Peony International Debit Cardholders in disaster-affected areas in Sichuan.
4.Emergency card insurance and replacement services. The emergency card insurance and replacement services provided for Peony Credit Cardholders in disaster-affected areas in Sichuan.
In addition, ICBC will also temporarily stop debt collections through both telephone and text message from the Peony Credit Cardholders in disaster-affected areas in Sichuan.
