ICBC Global Market: FX Market Update - June 25, 2018
 

The euro climbed on Friday as traders were encouraged by improved regional economic growth data and new assurances by Italian politicians that their nation would not leave the single currency. The U.S. dollar index, which tracks the greenback against six major rivals, fell 0.24 percent to 94.517. The euro rose 0.47 percent to 1.1655 against the greenback. Against the yen, the dollar was down 0.02 percent at 109.96. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.1810 and $1.1520 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 111.50 and 108.60 respectively.
