ICBC Global Market: Oil and Other Commodities Market Update - June 19, 2018
 

Oil prices rose on Monday in volatile trade as market participants lowered their expectations for how much OPEC might increase production and investors assessed the impact of a trade dispute between the United States and China. Front-month U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures rallied 2.25 percent at $65.83 a barrel. Front-month Brent crude futures surged 3.37 percent to $75.46 a barrel. The spread between the two benchmarks stood at $9.63 a barrel.
