ICBC Global Market: Oil and Other Commodities Market Update - February 24, 2017
 

Oil prices rose on Thursday, underpinned by large drop in fuel oil stockpiles and a weaker dollar despite of continued build in U.S. crude stocks and production. Front-month U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures closed up 0.91 percent to $54.36 a barrel. Front-month Brent crude futures settled 0.50 percent higher to $56.47 a barrel. The spread between the two benchmarks stood at $2.11 a barrel.
