"Eyes Care Initiative",Makes Debut on ICBC E-Commerce Platform
 

Recently, the 2015 "Eyes Care Initiative" has made an official debut on “ICBC E-buy” e-commerce platform. By logging onto the ICBC e-commerce platform and entering the "Eyes Care Initiative" page, donations can be completed through the platform to help equip children in high-altitude areas with package for health of children's eyesight, including children's anti-UV Sunglasses. The campaign is expected to eventually benefit nearly 300,000 children in Tibet, Qinghai, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Ningxia and other high-altitude areas.

The 2015 "Eyes Care Initiative" is a charity activity jointly sponsored by ICBC, China Youth Development Foundation, Beijing Children Hospital Group, Beijing Children's Health Foundation, China National Radio, and Beijing Hoson Foundation. With "Love to Be Seen" as the theme, the activity is intended to appeal to the public to protect children's eyesight, and practically reduce the risk of cataract for children in high-altitude areas. The 2015 "Eyes Care Initiative" will chart a public welfare road in Tibet, Qinghai, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Ningxia, and equip nearly 300,000 children in high-altitude areas with "public welfare package for health of children's eyesight". The 2015 "Eyes Care Initiative" will hold an on-site donation activity in Tibet and Qinghai, respectively, carry out a series of activities across the country such as free diagnosis of children’s eye diseases, spreading knowledge of eye health, and generalization of eyes care knowledge, and provide support through large data acquisition for the long-term research of children's eyesight in the high-altitude areas in Western China.

ICBC e-commerce platform always values the active exploration and practice of new E-commerce public services. In addition to "Eyes Care Initiative", the Bank has also carried out "Micro Love—Charitable Donation" activity of bonus points donation, trying to create a public-raising and E-commerce-oriented charitable project model, and mobilize community members to support public welfare undertakings in a variety of ways such as donating bonus points in exchange of contributions.
