First Chinese Bank’s Stamps & Coins Collection Platform Launched
 

On January 30, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) held the opening ceremony for the ICBC Mall “Stamp & Coin Hall” in Beijing. It’s introduced that the “Stamp & Coin Hall” is a service platform for stamp and coin collection staged on ICBC Mall, China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation, China Gold Coin Incorporation, China National Philatelic Corporation and Baoquan Coin Investment Co., Ltd. It provides fans for investment collections with authoritative, reliable, open, transparent, safe and convenient stamp and coin collection services.

ICBC Vice President Tan Jiong mentioned in the speech that the “Stamp & Coin Hall” is a new attempt made by ICBC for building up the online retail ecosystem of precious metal business. ICBC will start from investment collections to make explorations and plan for forward-looking layout on B2C online retail ecosystem. On the one hand, it will promote the strategy of all-customer development and strive to acquire customers with collection scenarios, activate them with stamp and coin products and keep them loyalty with professional services. On the other hand, it will conceptualize the business with culture, offer financial support and empower it with Internet, so as to gradually evolve from pure product sales to full-lifecycle product services and satisfy customers’ demands for investment collections of stamps, coins and banknotes with artistic, historical and cultural values as well as their value preservation and appreciation.

According to information, over 200 products are available now in the Hall, including some rather popular products in the market such as the “Commemorative Coins for the Year of Pig”, “Panda Silver Coin 2019” and “First Round of Chinese Zodiac Stamps”. At the event, nearly 100 rare collections such as the “Collection of the First to Fifth Set of RMB”, “2000 Millennium 10KG Commemorative Gold Coin” and “Culture Revolution Stamps” were also exhibited, displaying the unique charm of stamp and coin collections and the implied historical and cultural significance.
