ICBC Beijing Branch launches Self-Service for Payment of "BGCTV" Bills

ICBC Beijing Branch has recently launched a new payment service - "BGCTV", in collaboration with Beijing Gehua CATV Network Co., Ltd ("BGCTV"). Starting from today, Beijing residents can pay BGCTV bills at any ICBC's 1300+ payment kiosks in Beijing using ICBC debit cards or credit cards.

The new service offers another option for Beijing residents to pay daily bills instead of queuing up at the ICBC counter. "BGCTV" receives self-service payments for BGCTV broadband and BGCTV SiTV high-definition program packages. For Beijing residents to pay BGCTV bills, use ICBC cards and go to the nearest ICBC payment kiosk, from the menu "Bill payment" choose "BGCTV". No need to run to the bank and queue up at the counter. The new payment service allows Beijing residents to pay electricity bill, gas bill or water bill, as well as traffic fines (not on-site), top up Quickpass Card or make medical appointment. Payments can be made at self-service devices or via Internet Banking.

In recent years, ICBC scales up its self-service channels to ease the pressure at the bank counter. Over 2,000 self-service devices have been deployed in Beijing during the last three years. To ensure good experience for customers, ICBC Beijing Branch upgrades the self-service channels through a wider range of services with easier steps and functions. Meanwhile, ICBC also launches different marketing activities to encourage customers to bank at self-service devices. Dedicated staff are assigned to assist and encourage customers to use the fast, convenient "green" financial services.
