ICBC today announced that a series of tailored services and financial products will be launched during the week-long National Day Holiday to meet customer demand for financial services. The aim is to provide a rich variety of high-quality, efficient financial services to all the customers.

During the Holiday, ICBC will reasonably arrange the business hours of outlets, and prioritize outlets in major shopping and residential areas to ensure normal operations during the Holiday. In Beijing and Shanghai, at least 50% of ICBC outlets will be open from October 1st to 3rd, and all outlets will be open during normal banking hours from October 4th to 7th. In Guangzhou, at least 50% of the outlets will be open from October 1st to 3rd. From October 4th to 7th, outlets will be open during the hours as in Saturdays and Sundays. All ICBC outlets will announce working hours in advance to help customers reasonably arrange banking requests.

During the Holiday, customers may still enjoy convenient services as ICBC’s electronic banking channels including self-service devices, Telephone Banking, Internet Banking and Mobile Banking will provide financial services around the clock. To ensure normal operations, ICBC conducted thorough check and maintenance on all self-service devices and network before the Holiday. ICBC will also closely monitor the self-service devices and replenish cash positions to meet customers’ demand during the Holiday. On Telephone Banking services, ICBC has prepared sufficient seats to handle customer requests. Customers may also access ICBC SMS Banking or WeChat Banking by sending a request via SMS to 95588 or through WeChat to "ICBC Electronic Banking" public account. ICBC will reply or offer assistance shortly.

In addition to ensuring the availability of all financial services during the Holiday, ICBC has also provided diversified wealth management products for customers to "activate" their idle funds. Besides conventional products such as "7-day call deposit", "Link Express", "Win Every Step", ICBC also launched a number of tailored financial products for customers to manage wealth while enjoying the holiday. For precious metal investors, the long holiday is not a concern as ICBC’s precious metal business normally runs over the Holliday. Customers can buy or sell precious metals via accounts in Internet Banking as usual. The trading hours remain unchanged from 07:00 am Monday to 04:00 am Saturday.

Customers looking for travel or shopping during the long holiday will enjoy a variety of promotions designed for the National Holliday, ICBC offers unique promotions such as "ICBC Discount Street", "Non-Stop Discount on National Day”, "ICBC Cuisine Discount" , "ICBC Quick Pass Travel" and "Lucky Prize" for customers who pay with bank cards issued by ICBC in characteristic downtown streets, large shopping malls, hot travel routes and hotels.
