On August 18th, 2009, the awarding ceremony of "The 60th Anniversary of the Founding of New China——Survey & Selection Activity of 'Drive China's Economy • 60 Brands influencing on People's Life' " was held in Beijing. With prominent brand influence force, innovation ability and growth capacity, ICBC was highly recognized by the members of Expert Selection Committee of this survey and selection activity and listed in "CCTV 60 Brands in 60 Years".

It was reported that the Survey & Selection Activity of "CCTV 60 Brands in 60 Years" was a brand survey and selection activity held by CCTV to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of new China. The activity was aiming to praise successful brands, support independent innovation brands and drive growing brands through systematical review and announcement of the brands that have been driving development of China's economy and influencing on people's life during the 60 years since the founding of new China.
