The Financial Times hosted the "2010 UK Financial Times - Qingdao International Finance Forum" and award ceremony for "2010 UK Financial Times China Banking Industry Achievement Award" in Qingdao. ICBC was the award recipient of "Best Corporate Bank".

The Forum announced the result of the annual study jointly conducted by FTChinese.com and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, a leading European strategy consulting firm, on the current progress of China's banking industry. The mass data and actual cases used in the study indicated that ICBC has the largest and most stable customer base in corporate banking, the most number of branches and subsidiaries and the strong Internet Banking. In terms of asset management and cash management, ICBC continued to stay ahead of the pack to offer innovative products and solutions and tailored financial services matching with the customer requirements. Therefore, ICBC was rightly lauded as the "Best Corporate Bank".

This was the first time that UK Financial Times hosting its award programme in China. The Forum, one of the most influential events in China, brought together over 300 financial experts and professionals.
