ICBC Announces Comprehensive Business Cooperation with East Money
 

On December 12, 2017, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and East Money Information Co., Ltd. (East Money) announced in Beijing that they will carry out all-round cooperation in securities business, asset custody, co-branded credit card, private banking, fund sales and information sharing, and will launch securities account-opening and transaction functions for ICBC Mobile Banking “ICBC Mobile”, private banking cooperation and ICBC East Money co-branded credit cards. Li Yunze, Vice President of ICBC, attended the event with Qi Shi, Chairman of East Money.

Li Yunze said that ICBC is committed to working with internet partners to provide more convenient and high-quality financial services to its customers and create a sound internet financial ecosystem based on the concept of openness and win-win cooperation. Since the beginning of this year, ICBC has accelerated the implementation of the e-ICBC 3.0 Smart Bank strategy and has sought to build an open, cooperative and win-win financial services ecosystem with new ideas, new models and new technologies, thus building intelligent marketing, products, services and risk control system, creating an integrated online-offline business development model, and promoting the upgrade to “Smart Bank” which encourages innovation and provides services and applications for all. At present, ICBC has carried out cooperation in vertical areas of tourism and transportation, e-commerce and trade, social media, culture and entertainment, and information and communication with more than 100 internet enterprises, covering the large ones which relate to people's livelihoods and emerging “unicorns” which caters to young people. It has introduced various new products and services such as “AI Investment”, “ICBC Smart Guard” and “ICBC Xiaobai” digital banking, which have promoted innovation, entrepreneurship and customer experience.

It is learned that the securities service in “ICBC Mobile” launched on the day enables customers to enjoy one-stop securities investment and wealth management services, including securities account-opening and transactions at preferential rates, quotations on the stock market and financial market information. “ICBC Mobile” now serves 270 million customers and its DAU ranks first in the banking industry.
