ICBC Holds the 4th Wealth Management Festival to Promote Financial Inclusion
 

In August, ICBC held the 4th ICBC Wealth Management Festival nationwide, which lasts for one month. Featured by “Happy wealth management, smart allocation of life”, the Wealth Management Festival is committed to  improving constantly the adaptability and inclusion of financial services and creating excellent experience of investment and wealth management for customers by providing rich financial products, services, wealth management knowledge as well as preferential rates. This constitutes an initiative adopted by ICBC to promote the strategy of “building the No. 1 Personal Bank” to make the modern finance more inclusive to the general public.

First, specialized and high-quality financial products are provided. In particular, ICBC will sort out 10 star fund managers with long-term stable stock selection capabilities and outstanding performance to sell high-quality fund products. Meanwhile, a number of fund, securities, and insurance companies are allied to provide customers with high-quality financial products, including premium wealth management, funds, insurance, exclusive deposits, ETC, personalized debit cards, precious metals, etc.

Second, more preferences are offered to reward customers. ICBC will provide customers with discounts on AI index purchasing rates, interest concessions on precious metal products, exclusive customer deposits, and preferential consumer loan interest rates in some areas to render discount to customers.

Third, scientific investment concepts are passed on. ICBC intensively rolled out the investor education activities themed “Wealth Management Festival Caravan”. Experts and scholars will be invited to communicate with customers online on such hot issues as current capital market conditions, family wealth management, the Civil Code, children growth education, COVID-19 containment and so on. Meanwhile, activities such as wealth management micro-classes and outlet micro-salons were held in more than 16,000 outlets across the country to present wealth management knowledge, diagnose asset allocation, and provide asset allocation and wealth management advice for customers.

Ever since 2017, ICBC Wealth Management Festival has been held once every year, making it an ICBC financial service brand for the general public. By integrating the resources of its own and high-quality partners, ICBC has built a comprehensive one-stop retail service platform to help customers tackle the “selection perplexity” in investment and wealth management, reduce transaction costs, nurture scientific wealth management concepts, and enhance risk prevention awareness.
