The new mobile terminal of “ICBC E-buy” platform was launched on July 20, which optimized and upgraded over 200 functions to provide customers with more convenient and smart shopping experience.
According to an official in charge of “ICBC E-buy” e-commerce platform, by using intelligent recommendation technology, ICBC has created shopping scenarios close to customers’ habits based on their browsing and shopping behaviors and redesigned the style and service interface of the mobile terminal of “ICBC E-buy” e-commerce platform. First, the new version has significantly optimized login procedure, search procedure, order placement procedure and payment procedure,by combing multiple steps into one, which improved efficiency by at least 50%. Second, the new version of mobile terminal used popular functions such as “rubber band” and “magnifying glass” , and replaced traditional “click”, “enter” and “drop-down menu” with convenient and fast functions such as “gesture”, “slide” and “tap” to match the customers’ habits. Meanwhile, the new mobile terminal has created the module of “intelligent recommendation”, which sets up forecast models and intelligently recommended products by analyzing customers’ shopping record, browsing history, searching habit and previous behaviors.
The new mobile terminal of “ICBC E-buy” platform provides online POS function developed by ICBC to facilitate customers’ online payment. After signing up for the function, merchants of “ICBC E-buy” can make payment with other banks’ cards in addition to ICBC cards, realizing one platform that supports payment via all banks. This function has facilitated consumers while expanding customer base for the merchants.
Customers using the former mobile terminal of “ICBC E-buy” can directly click push to upgrade to the latest version while new users can download new “ICBC E-buy” APP at Apple store or Google store.
