ICBC Mall Becomes National Green Food Demonstrative E-commerce Platform
 

At the China Green Food Exposition Baotou 2017 hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, ICBC Mall e-commerce platform was invited to participate as e-commerce partner and awarded National Green Food Demonstrative E-commerce Platform.

An ICBC official said that ICBC Mall began to cooperate with the Green Food Administration Office, Ministry of Agriculture last year, and continued to explored financial services for green food e-commerce. It signed cooperation agreement with over 700 quality green food enterprises such as Luhua, Beidahuang, Hetao, DQY Ecological, Gaea Gem, Ningxiahong, Haoxiangni and Zhuyeqing, covering over 90% green food enterprises with e-commercial capabilities in China.

According to the latest data, ICBC Mall has become one of the e-commerce platforms with the most categories of green food in China. Its green food sales exceeded RMB 660 million and the re-purchase rate of customers doubled the average rate in the food industry. Also, the platform built up several serial featured brands such as “Rice of China” and “Fruits of China”. Meanwhile, thanks to advantage in comprehensive financial services, ICBC granted nearly RMB 10 million online mortgage-free credit loans to over 50 green food enterprises with high sales and quality services, taking an important step in centralized and specialized online operation in green food.

As the most credible and influential brand in China’s farm product market, Green Food is a model in whole-process quality control, and is deeply rooted in public mind as high-quality, safe and reassuring. ICBC Mall, as an integral part of ICBC’s Internet-based finance strategy, is a comprehensive e-commerce financial platform integrating daily-life consumption, production and purchase, business and trade and financial service. Over the next step, it will continue to move ahead towards the goal of a credible and valuable quality e-commerce platform of green food. It will innovate the service mode for agriculture, rural areas and farmers with e-commerce finance, and provide consumers with services such as purchase with points, purchase by instalment, purchase with credit and purchase with wealth management products to contribute more to the agricultural supply-side reform.
