“ICBC e-Invest” Keeps Positive Momentum

“ICBC e-Invest”, a personal investment trading terminal launched last year by the Bank, has been well received by the market, showing robust growth momentum. Three functions have lately been added to its PC version. First, the function of agency for the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) and information on market, trading and news over foreign exchange products are incorporated. Second, customized functions are supported including “add options” and “early warning”. Third, the terminal interface layout is optimized, adding functions such as “shortcuts to customize service” and “history records”, which could further enhance customer experience.

The “ICBC e-Invest” trading terminal is the only trading platform exclusive for individual investors in China’s banking industry, which integrates the functions of market information, news, trading and service, and can provide all proprietary and agency products of ICBC including account-based precious metal, precious metal accrual, and precious metal agency for SGE, to meet all types of investment and trading needs. Customers can download the software from the Bank’s website or other channels, and then browse market information without registration, which both overcomes the disadvantage of logging for browsing as required by the conventional online banking service, and bears the strength of ICBC in product line and trading security, making it an open trading platform featuring professionalism, efficiency, security and convenience.

According to an ICBC official, “ICBC e-Invest” is an Internet financial product designed to meet the online investment and trading demand of customers. On professionalism, this trading terminal not only provides financial and investment information service in foreign exchange, precious metals, futures and bonds, among others, but also has powerful analytic functions, including 15 key technical indicator analytic tools and lining tools, providing specialized reference to investment decision making. On time efficiency, it ensures high-frequency “refreshing” of market information, and can refresh four times per second at the fastest, allowing users to be updated of the latest market data and news over multiple transactions. On security, “ICBC e-Invest” provides safeguard measures such as “reserved information verification” and “300-second lock screen” to ensure the account security of customers. User experience wise, the Bank has designed “fast trade”, “click to order” and other trading processes for the software, which also has functions of “automatically filling in transaction elements”, “quick order”, and “small window on top”. All these have boosted trading efficiency. On customized service, the terminal provides investors with functions such as self-selected product, technical indicators, and customized quotation style, as well as auxiliary functions like “product customization settings” and “operation record saving”.

To meet customers’ mobile demand, ICBC would later launch “ICBC e-Invest” App for mobile phones, allowing customers to browse market information and place orders anywhere at any time.
