Earlier, ICBC has been named "Best Sub-Custodian Bank in China 2011" in a formal notice from Global Finance (US), a respected international financial publication. This marks ICBC's sixth consecutive year to win the award for its custody services, also another accolade this year from the international custody sector after the "Best Custodian Bank in China of the Year 2011" from The Assets (HK) in early 2012.

The Global Finance (US) selected the winners from the custodian banks that reliably provide the best custody services in local markets and regions. The criteria included customer relations, quality of service, competitive pricing, smooth handling of exception items, business continuity plans, technology platforms, network architecture, risk control, and knowledge of local regulations and practices in the past year.

As of today, ICBC has received 30 domestic and international awards for its custody services, building a good brand image in the industry.
