Q: How do I open a brokerage account?

A: Please stop by one of our branches and provide the following documents for account opening:

Legal identification document(and a copy), a valid address proof(has to be valid for last 3 months), and complete an account opening form.

Q: Can i use other type of account and convert into HK dollar for security trading without opening a HKD account?

A: A valid HKD settlement account must be used for security trading purpose.

Q: Can I open a brokerage account if I'm a U.S. passport holder?

A: Due to the regulation issues, the service will not offer to U.S.citizens.

Q: I'm a Mainland China resident; can I open a brokerage account with online trading services?

A: Yes. Please go to one of our branches and provide the following documents: a valid Resident Identity Card, Exit-Entry Permit or passport, and address proof (must be valid for 3 months).

Q: What's the minimum age requirement for opening a brokerage account?

A: The minimum age requirement is 18 your old.

Q: When can I place my first order after opening a brokerage account?

A: If a new account opened before 12:30pm, it will be activated in the same day afternoon.

If a new account opened after 12:30pm, it will be activated in the next business day.

Q: Do you provide mobile trading service and SMS feedback.

A: Yes. Please apply in person.

Q: Do you have online trading service?

A: Yes, Please apply in person.

Q: What are the service charges?

A: Brokerage commission(Counter/Phone in):0.25%, Min HKD 125

Brokerage commission(Online/Mmbile):0.2%,Min HKD 70

In addition, HKD 60 would to be charged as at June 1st and December 1st per year for custody fee.

Q: Will my account balance be debited immediately for stock purchase?

A: The system will freeze the related balance after placing any purchase orders. The settlement will be performed after 2 transaction days(T+2).

Q: Can I place other purchase orders immediately after seling my shares? Can I withdraw cash right away?

A: Fund can be reused for stock purchase after sales proceeds. The sales proceeds will be credited to your account two days after execution(T+2),therefore; customer cannot withdraw cash reight away.

Q: Do you have e-statement?

A: We will provide e-statement service soon. Currently, daily transaction statement and monthly statement will be sent by mail.

Q: Do you provide IPO service?

A: Yes. Please apply in person for IPO service. The handling charged will be HKD 150.

Q: The current market transaction period as follow:

Morning 09:00am~09:15am (Pre-opening Order input Session) 09:30am~12:00pm (Transaction Period) afternoon: 01:00pm~04:00pm (Transaction Period)

Q: Do you provide Investment Saving Plan(ISP)?

A: We are currently offering promotion for Investment Saving Plan, all service charges would be waived. Afterthe promotion period, the handing fee for thervice is HKD 50 per order.

Q: What are the limitations for Investment Savings Plan?

A: The minimum installment is HKD 500/stock. The maximum installment is HKD 10,000/stock.
