Peony EMV Standard Credit Card

Peony EMV Standard Credit Card is a smart chip card with all credit card functions as well as in accordance with EMV standard, which is based on the original Peony Credit Card Series and added chip media. ICBC was the first to issue EMV standard credit card in China, with global standards, which brought the most advanced and most secure product to the Chinese cardholders and led China's credit card into "Chip Era".

1. Double Media of Chip and Magnetic Stripe
EMV card is a compound media card with both chip and magnetic stripe. The chip functions of the EMV card are applicable to domestic and overseas ATM, POS and bank counters which are in accordance to EMV standard; the magnetic stripe functions and usages are equivalent to that of the credit card.

2. Secure Protection, Intelligent Application
The use of the chip has brought tremendous improvement to the security of credit card information and add-value services. The chip card uses a chip with functions of operational independence, encryption and decryption and storage capacity. When the intelligent circuit detects any illegal reading of the card data, it will destroy the chip on its own to protect the card data, which greatly defuses the risk of card use.

3. Risk Aversion, Double Protection
If you use EMV credit card in nations or regions in which EMV transfer has not yet been completed, when there are losses caused by card stolen or information copied, you do not have to bear these losses, which provides more protection to your card use security.

4. Convenient Admissibility, Superior Enjoyment
Nowadays, the EMV card is a trend of bank card development, and European countries and Southeast Asian countries have first completed the EMV transfers. In these countries, you will enjoy the great convenience and security with EMV card consumption.

5. Convenient Payment, No Waiting
The EMV card could deal with small non-contact transactions, simplify payment procedures, and significantly save your waiting time.

6. Supporting Personalized Multi-application Platform
The EMV card has successfully integrated contact as well as non-contact chips on one card, supporting functions such as electronic purse, small payment, personal information management, points accumulation, and members management.
