The Asset Custody Department of ICBC has thirteen divisions, namely: Securities Investment Fund Division, Entrusted Asset Division I, Entrusted Asset Division II, Global Asset Custody Department, Social Security Fund Asset Custody Department, Outsourcing Center, Operations Division I, Operations Division II, Operations Division III, Investment Supervision division, Comprehensive Management division, Risk Management division, and Digital Promotion division. The head office has established head office level operation centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhejiang, and Chongqing branches, and has established a custody operation system of head office operation centers + 6 head office level operation centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhejiang, and Chongqing, along with other branches. All 36 branches domestically offer asset custody services, providing professional custody services to clients.
As of the end of 2023, ICBC Asset Custody Department employs over 1,000 professionals. ICBC Asset Custody Department(Head Office) has 209 staff, with over 98% holding bachelor's degrees or higher and qualifications in fund management industry. Senior managers hold graduate degrees or higher-level technical titles.
