Mobile Banking Launches Fingerprint Login Service for Android-based phones
In order to provide a faster and more convenient mobile banking service, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (the “Bank”) has introduced “Fingerprint Login Service” for Android-based phones. You can use fingerprint authentication as an alternative on password to access mobile banking!
Steps for activation:
| Step 1: | Log in with your online banking username/account no. and password, click “Me” in the bottom right corner and click “Service and Settings”. |
| Step 2: | Select “Fingerprint Login Service” . |
| Step 3: | View and accept the terms and conditions. |
| Step 4: | Input the SMS verification code. |
| Step 5: | Place your fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor on mobile device. |
| Step 6: | Set up complete, Log in the mobile banking with fingerprint now! |
Remarks:
- The compatible Android devices of Fingerprint Login Service is included but limited to below devices : Samsung (Galaxy S9, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S7, Galaxy A9)，LG (G5)，Sony(Xperia XZ1), Huawei(P20 pro, Mate 10, Mate 9), Xiaomi(Xiaomi 8 Lite, Redmi Note4X, Xiaomi 5), Vivo(X9, V11). And more devices will be supported in future.
- To ensure the customer can enjoy our mobile banking service successfully, we suggest the customer who are using the Fingerprint Login/ Fingerprint Authentication service by Android device should use the same fingerprint as service registration.
- Please download the latest version of mobile banking to enjoy this function.
