The gold price in Hong Kong closed at 11,250 Hong Kong dollars per tael on Wednesday, down 115 Hong Kong dollars from the previous trading day, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,216.94 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 12.43 U.S. dollars at the exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.76 Hong Kong dollars.
