The benchmark DAX index at Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Tuesday gained by 7.74 points or 0.06 percent and closed at 11966.14 points.
Share of tyres specialist Continental went up the most by 0.86 percent, followed by automotive corporations Daimler and Volkswagen by 0.81 percent and 0.66 percent respectively.
Energy group E.ON, Deutsche Bank and trading marketplace organizer Deutsche Boeser are the top three losers, whose shares dropped by 2.25 percent, 1.79 percent and 1.40 percent respectively.
In three consecutive trading days, Deutsche Bank was the most traded share with a turnover of 280.43 million euros (about 296.58 million U.S. dollars).
