French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 0.35 percent and closed at 4,955.00 points on Tuesday.
The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Tuesday, down 17.19 points, with 24 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.
The top three gainers were Vivendi, up 1.03 percent, Accor, up 0.63 percent, and Michelin (CGDE), up 0.61 percent.
The three companies whose stocked dropped most were Veolia Environnement, down 1.54 percent, Airbus Group, down 1.21 percent, and Klepierre, down 1.15 percent.
In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped 0.46 percent to close at 4,972.19 points on Monday, down 22.94 points.
