French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.66 percent and closed at 5,318.67 points on Thursday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Thursday, up 35.07 points, with 31 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.
The top three gainers were AIRBUS, up 2.96 percent, NOKIA, up 2.79 percent, and RENAULT, up 2.07 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most were ORANGE, down 0.70 percent, ENGIE, down 0.44 percent, and SANOFI, down 0.33 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped 0.42 percent to close at 5,283.63 points on Wednesday, down 22.31 points.
