U.S. stocks kept rising Thursday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq setting new record highs, as investors continued to cheer over the minutes from the Federal Reserve's meeting in May.

The Dow added 0.34 percent, and the S&P 500 climbed 0.44 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 0.69 percent.
