Spanish benchmark stock market index, Ibex-35, rose 0.93 percent on Thursday to close at 10,324.90 points.

Gamesa shares led the rises, climbing 2.56 percent, followed by Ferrovial, Inditex, Melia Hotels, Tecnicas Reunidas and Banco Sabadell, which increased 2.30 percent, 2.18 percent, 2.11 percent, 1.93 percent and 1.80 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led the falls, losing 1.36 percent, followed by Acerinox, Iberdrola and Banco Popular that lost 0.75 percent, 0.20 percent and 0.11 percent respectively.

Spain's risk premium closed at 132 points, up from the 136 points from Wednesday, while Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.74 percent, down from the 1.80 percent of Wednesday.
