1Can I collect English ticket booking form?
Yes. You can also download the English ticket booking form at the official ticketing website or book the ticket online directly.

2Which payment options can be accepted by the ticket sales outlets?
ICBC debit card, ICBC credit card, ICBC (local) current A/C. Cash is accepted when buying at the ticket office inside the venues.

3Can I use foreign currency card to pay my ticket?
All tickets are sold in RMB. Please exchange your foreign currency into RMB account and then pay the ticket.

4What are the rules of payment?
All payments for the Asian Games tickets must be in RMB. Payments from overseas ticket buyers will be converted to RMB.
When you choose to buy tickets at the official ticketing outlets and sign the booking form, ICBC staffs at the ticketing outlets will deduct the amount from your account. Please make sure the balance in your ICBC credit/debit card or current account passbook is enough to pay for your ticket. Your booking form will be cancelled if the balance is not enough. If the person booking the ticket is different from the person paying the ticket, Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee is not liable for any issue howsoever arising.

5. Any requirement on the validity of the credit card?
Please make sure your credit card does not expire before October, 2010.

6Any discount if I use ICBC credit card to pay my Asian Games ticket?
No discount. At the moment, no discount offered on the Asian Games tickets.

8For domestic ticket buyers, which bank card can be used for B2C payment of the Asian Games tickets bought via Internet Banking?
ICBC bank cards (including debit card, credit card) and current account passbook.

9When I buy tickets at the official ticketing outlet, can I use cash directly to open a new ICBC account at the Asian Games ticket sales window?
If the Asian Games ticket sales window accepts cash, you can use cash directly to open an ICBC account. If the Asian Games ticket sales window does not accept cash, you have to go to the ticket sales window that accepts cash. You have to surrender your valid identity document when opening the account.

10At this stage, what are the payment options available for buying Asian Games tickets?
Two options:
Buy online: use the specified related bank card to pay the ticket via Internet Banking. See details on the Asian Games official website. For the public (mainly overseas ticket buyers) to pay their Asian Games tickets online, they can use their Visa/MasterCard credit cards and enrolled with “VBV” (Visa) or “SecureCode” (MasterCard) function.
Buy at the ticketing outlet: only accept payments by ICBC RMB debit/credit cards and current account passbook. (Customers who use cash to pay must open payment media)

11My ICBC savings account is dual-currency. Which currency will be deducted first? Can I use FX savings account to pay my Asian Games ticket?
All tickets must be paid in RMB. If your savings account is a FX account, please contact ICBC and confirm if the account can be used for RMB payment. ICBC’s dual currency cards do not support direct conversion from foreign currency to RMB. You have to exchange the FX amount in the foreign currency account into RMB account. After that, you can use RMB to pay your ticket.

12Can I use someone’s credit card to pay? Is it necessary that I must use my bank account to pay my ticket?
We suggest you to use your own credit/debit card or current account passbook to pay your ticket. If the person booking the ticket is different from the person paying the ticket, Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee is not liable for any issue howsoever arising.

13I am a VIP customer of ICBC, is there any VIP/priority channel for me to buy tickets?
Sorry, selling Asian Games ticket is not a service run by ICBC. Besides, Asian Games Organizing Committee does not open any service channel for VIP in order to be fair to every ticket buyer. Please queue and wait patiently at the ticketing outlet.

14use ICBC debit card to pay my ticket online. I click “Confirm payment”, a message comes out “Cannot display the page”. I found the ticket amount has been deducted from my account. What happens? Does that mean my payment is successful?
Log in your ticketing account to check the payment. Payment details refer to the system record. If you find any discrepancy, please call 020-1258088 again.

15Why the card/passbook from other banks can be used for booking at the official ticketing website but only ICBC card/passbook can be used at the designated ticketing outlets?
ICBC is the official ticketing outlets designated by the Guangzhou Asian Games. Therefore, you can only use ICBC RMB debit/credit card or current account passbook when you buy tickets at the outlets.

16What are the payment limits of ICBC Internet Banking?
See below. To ensure smooth payment, please check if you have exceeded the limit. Use USB-Shield to pay online in case you go over the limit. Call 95588 for further details:

17How to purchase tickets of Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games and Guangzhou 2010 Asian Para Games opening/closing ceremonies?
A:Both official ticketing website and 400 ICBC sales outlets nationwide are available for purchase of ceremony tickets.
Purchase process via official ticketing website:
For unregistered audience: Personal account registration → input personal information for ticket purchase → online payment →payment confirmation letter sent to the purchaser→ wait for draw.
For registered audience on Official Ticketing Website: Log onto personal account→ input personal information for ticket purchase→ online payment →payment confirmation letter sent to the purchaser→ wait for draw
Purchase process via Official Ticketing Outlets:
Read carefully relevant policies of Ticketing Guidance → fill the ticket ordering form → submit ordering form (with personal valid ID document together with ICBC payment methods) →ICBC staff input information on ordering form into system → purchasers payment → payment confirmation letter printed → wait for draw

Visa and MasterCard credit card holders in Hong Kong and Macau must enroll in the 3D Secure authentication program with the card issuing bank before they can buy tickets at the Asian Games official ticketing website (tickets.gz2010.cn).
Note: Visa's 3D Secure authentication service is Verified by Visa (VbV); MasterCard's 3D authentication service is MasterCard®SecurecodeTM.

24、What is 3D secure authentication? How can I subscribe to this program?
Simply put, cardholders get a password for online transactions once registered at the card issuing bank. When the cardholders make payment for online shopping, the password is used for authentication to make sure the payment is safe. No fee is collected by card issuing bank.
Your card issuing bank will provide special webpage to assist you. Logon website of your card issuing bank and follow the instructions. Check details from your card issuing bank.

25、What identity documents can be used to buy tickets?
You must hold one of the following valid identity documents. No other person can book for you (you must come to buy):
The People's Republic of China - Permanent resident ID card (new or old ID card, no temporary ID card)
The Chinese People's Liberation Army - Military ID card, Clerical Officer ID card, Soldier ID card, Honorary Certificate for retired military officers, retirement certificate, Retirement Certificate for Clerical Officers
The People's Armed Police Force – Police Officer ID card, Clerical Officer ID card, Soldier ID Card, retirement certificate, Retirement Certificate for Clerical Officers
HKSAR passport or Macau SAR passport
HK and Macau Re-entry Permit and the endorsement

26、What kind of payment methods can be accepted by the ICBC ticketing outlets?
ICBC debit card, ICBC credit card, ICBC current account (local). Cash is available if buying at the ticket kiosk at the venue.

27、Can I use a foreign-currency card to pay for the ticket(s)?
All tickets must be paid in RMB. Please change the foreign currency to RMB account first.

28、When I collect my ticket, do I have to go to the same ticketing outlet where I book the ticket?
No (you cannot collect ticket at the official ticketing outlets in Macau)

29、Can I make any change to my order? How?
If you wish to change your booking, please call the Asian Games Organizing Committee hotline 1258088.

30、If I cancel my order, can I get a refund for the tickets I have already bought? How?
Follow the instructions stated in Circular on buying Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games Tickets to submit application to Asian Games Organizing Committee (hotline: 1258088).

31、What are the service hours of the official ticketing outlets?
Refer to the normal service hours announced by official ticketing outlet respectively.
