Announcement on E-Banking System Upgrade
 

Dear Customers:

For the purpose of providing more abundant and convenient services to you, ICBC will upgrade the E-banking system on January 15-16, 2011.The main functions of the upgrade consist of new corporate internet banking provident fund, business card B2B payment, E-map service, mobile banking (WAP) customer segmentation and service enhancement, and mobile banking (WAP) corporate authorized payment; adjustment of discount rule for remittance through personal internet banking , and optimization of internet banking control and ICBC messenger (click here for details).Relevant systems including internet banking, telephone banking, mobile banking (WAP) and mobile banking (SMS)  will be suspended during the upgrade. The specific time arranges are as follows:
The Corporate Internet Banking, Bank-Enterprise Interlink, Personal Banking, Telephone Banking, Mobile Banking (WAP) and Mobile Banking (SMS) will suspend from 2:00 to 8:00 on January 16.

Main New and Optimized Functions of E-banking System Upgrade

Corporate Internet banking provident fund. With this new service, corporate customers can inquire corporate account, employees’ accounts and register of housing provident fund payment via Corporate Internet Banking, and pay housing provident fund and housing subsidy. This service will be launched in Guangdong Province on a trial basis.
Business card B2B payment. After the upgrade, customers of Corporate Internet Banking will gain access to B2B payment through business card. Besides, business card can be bound with the settlement account. In case of inadequate limit in the business card account for B2B payment, the difference will be transferred automatically from the settlement account to finish the payment. This service will be piloted in Zhejiang and Guangdong Provinces.
E-map service. E-map service is available to customers after the upgrade. Customers can inquire business types, business hours, telephone numbers, locations and public transport information of ICBC outlets and self-service areas through the Bank’s portal website or customer service representatives of the Telephone Banking.
Mobile Banking (WAP) customer segmentation and service enhancement. The new version divides the customer base into different groups and offers properly services. Customers of Mobile Banking (WAP) are included into the Bank’s E-banking VIP system, and are categorized into ordinary customers, ordinary VIPs, silver VIPs and gold VIPs.
Mobile Banking (WAP) corporate authorized payment. Corporate Mobile Banking is available in the Mobile Banking (WAP). Account balance inquiry, details inquiry, reply of instructions to be authorized, instruction inquiry and other services are offered through mobile Internet via WAP. Login wap3.icbc.com.cn for Corporate Mobile Banking. This service will be initially piloted in Tianjin.
Adjustment of discount rule for remittance through Personal Internet Banking. After the launch, the Personal Internet Banking discount rules for remittance fee is adjusted., besides ,the preferential fees for different levels of customers of outlets, customers can enjoy an additional discount for inter-city remittance and inter-bank remittance through Personal Internet Banking.
Optimization of Internet Banking control. After the optimization, customers need to download and upgrade relevant control program. Please finish the procedure according to the prompt. In case of any problems during the control upgrade, please download and install the Internet Banking control package or use the ICBC Internet Banking helper to finish the upgrade.
ICBC Messenger optimization. New function of SMS Alert on Defined fund investment is added to ICBC Messenger through Personal Internet Banking, and business processing reminder subscription and extension functions are available for Mobile Banking (WAP) and Telephone Banking. In addition to E-mail and SMS, the messenger can also be sent via NMS. Mobile phone customers of China Mobile can subscribe for such service through Personal Internet Banking and Mobile Banking (WAP), and NMS number is 106501695588.
