ICBC Global Market: FX Market Update - April 3, 2018
 

The dollar index, which tracks the greenback against six major rivals, rose 0.09 percent to 90.052 on Monday, little changed as some European markets were closed for the Easter Monday holiday. The euro was down 0.17 percent to 1.2300 against the greenback. The dollar dropped versus the yen for a third straight session, as China imposed extra tariffs on U.S. products, escalating a dispute between two of the world's biggest economies. Against the yen, the dollar fell 0.36 percent at 105.88. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.2450 and $1.2140 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 107.40 and 104.50 respectively.
