ICBC Global Market: FX Market Update - December 28, 2017
 

The dollar index, which tracks the greenback against six major rivals, fell 0.25 percent to 93.025 on Wednesday as traders bet more major central banks will begin reducing monetary stimulus in 2018 because of faster global economic growth. The euro was up 0.24 percent to 1.1886 against the greenback. Against the yen, the dollar edged up 0.11 percent at 113.34. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.2000 and $1.1720 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 114.80 and 112.00 respectively.
