The dollar index, which tracks the greenback against six major rivals, remained unchanged at 94.671 on Wednesday as investors stayed on the sidelines due to Independence Day celebrations in the United States, while concern about Washington's end-of-week deadline to impose tariffs on Chinese imports crimped trading. The euro inched down 0.01 percent to 1.1654 against the greenback. Against the yen, the dollar was down 0.12 percent at 110.45. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.1720 and $1.1430 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 112.00 and 109.10 respectively.
