Gold prices slid 0.85 percent to 1,184.92 an ounce on Thursday, under pressure from a stronger dollar as U.S. Federal Reserve reaffirmed the central bank's intention to raise interest rates and punitive trade tariffs between the United States and China kicked in. Silver fell 1.77 percent to 14.47 an ounce.
