ICBC Global Market: Precious Metal Market Update - October 13, 2017

Gold prices edged higher to a more than two-week high on Thursday as September minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve showed several policymakers concerned about weak inflation, calling patience on exit of QE. The less-than-expected hawkish tone provided a floor to gold. The yellow metal closed up 0.13 percent to $1,293.40 an ounce. Silver gained 0.06 percent at $17.17 an ounce.
