ICBC Global Market: RMB Interest Rate Market Update - April 12, 2018
 

Liquidity eased on Wednesday. Overnight repo rates inched up around 1 bp at 2.6137 percent, and 7-day repo rates rose around 2 bps at 2.9048 percent. Yields of cash T-bonds edged down in brisk trading. 1-year T-bonds yields slid 1 bp at 3.22 percent; 5-year T-bonds dropped 2 bps to yield 3.56 percent; 10-year T-bonds slipped 1 bp to yield 3.71 percent. Yields of financial bonds turned lower in heavy trading. 1-year bonds issued by China Development Bank remained unchanged to yield 3.75 percent; 5-year bonds issued by the Bank sagged 1 bp to yield 4.42 percent; and 10-year bonds lost 11.7 bps to yield 4.558 percent.
