ICBC Global Market: RMB Interest Rate Market Update - August 27, 2018
 

Liquidity was loose balanced on Friday. Overnight repo rates fell around 5 bps at 2.4088 percent, and 7-day repo rates inched down around 0.43 bps at 2.5739 percent. Yields of cash T-bonds diverged in steadied trading. 1-year T-bonds yields slipped 10 bps at 2.80 percent; 5-year T-bonds retreated 0.5 bps to yield 3.275 percent; 10-year T-bonds rose 1 bp to yield 3.63 percent. Yields of financial bonds closed higher in stable trading. 1-year bonds issued by China Development Bank advanced 4 bps to yield 3.04 percent; 5-year bonds issued by the Bank were up 1.5 bps to yield 3.92 percent; and 10-year bonds gained 2.75 bps to yield 4.2075 percent.
