ICBC Global Market: RMB Interest Rate Market Update - January 23, 2018
 

Liquidity eased on Monday. Overnight repo rates tumbled around 15 bps at 2.8119 percent, and 7-day repo rates slumped around 13 bps at 3.2366 percent. Yields of cash T-bonds edged down in steadied trading. 1-year T-bonds yields fell 3 bps at 3.55 percent; 5-year T-bonds dropped 5 bps to yield 3.87 percent; 10-year T-bonds slid 1.75 bps to yield 3.955 percent. Yields of financial bonds turned lower in stabilized trading. 1-year bonds issued by China Development Bank remained unchanged to yield 4.40 percent; 5-year bonds issued by the Bank sagged 4 bps to yield 5.02 percent; and 10-year bonds lost 5.14 bps to yield 5.08 percent.
