ICBC Unveils “Cloud Platform for Rural Collective Funds, Assets and Resources Management” to Boost Rural Revitalization

ICBC took the lead in launching the “Cloud Platform for Rural Collective Funds, Assets and Resources Management” in the industry, giving full play to the advantages of financial science and technology innovation, so as to meet the needs for information management on assets, resources and funds of agricultural and rural management departments at all levels, as well as rural collective economic organizations. At present, ICBC has cooperated with more than 400 agricultural and rural departments across China, covering 25 provinces and 101 prefectures and cities.

It is reported that through the service mode of “one-window acceptance”, the “Cloud Platform for Rural Collective Funds, Assets and Resources Management” can provide comprehensive financial services in respect of assets and capital verification, registration of shares, fund payment, e-payment and equity transaction for customers of agricultural and rural management departments at all levels, and the vast rural collective economic organizations. In the meanwhile, the cloud platform can conduct all-round supervision on three rural collective items (funds, assets and resources), three kinds of lands (contracted land, homestead and collective construction land) , in an effort to achieve organic combination of comprehensive banking services and daily management of village collectives.

On the basis of promoting the information construction of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”, ICBC also opened up various kinds of inclusive financial services in the “Cloud Platform for Rural Collective Funds, Assets and Resources Management”, bringing high-quality inclusive financial services directly to rural areas. In terms of the official business consumption management of village collectives, ICBC is the first of its peers to issue the “Smart Rural Business Card” in the industry to meet the needs in this respect, and to push forward the development of transparent village affairs. Regarding farmer-benefiting financing, ICBC will continue to enrich the types of credit products and reduce loan interest rates. For the sales of agricultural products, ICBC will create special sections of “direct procurement from places of origin” and “poverty alleviation for supporting farmers” on ICBC Mall, its own e-commerce platform.
