Article I Transaction Qualification
The Customers with ICBC Caifu Card, Elite Club Account, Peony Money Link card, Peony Money Link Card ? E-Age, Peony Quasi Credit card, Peony Credit Card, Peony International Card, or Current Passbook may get transaction qualification after registering Internet Banking service at ICBC banking outlets or self-registering on ICBC website.
Customers with ICBC current passbook have transaction qualification of Internet Banking deposit version automatically, they don't need to register.

Article III Transaction Functions
Presently, The following transaction functions are provided by ICBC Personal Internet Banking: account inquiry, account transfer, personal remittance, online payment, Tuition Payment, entrust deduction, personal financing, foreign exchange transaction, bank-securities account transfer, T-bond transaction, funds, Internet insurance, Internet Loan, E-shopping, ICBC messenger service, and bank card service, etc. Particularly, only account inquiry and online payment can be provided for Peony Business Card customers, other functions, such as account transfer and remittance, etc, cannot be used for them.
The Internet Banking provides customers with different transaction functions according to customer types and payment situations.

Article IV Transaction Hours
24-hour service is provided by ICBC Personal Internet Banking.

Article V Transaction Password
Login password is the password for the customers to login ICBC Personal Internet Banking. The initial login password is reserved by the customer while the service is registered.
Payment password is the Internet Banking password for account transfer, e-shopping, online payment, etc. Two types of payment passwords are provided: static password set by the customers themselves and dynamic password. Dynamic password is printed on the E-banking Code Card as a matrix. The customers, who have applied for the E-banking Code Card should input the dynamic password to make the verification while the Internet Banking transaction is making. The customers without E-banking Code Card or USB-Shield should use static password to finish the Internet Banking transaction.
Certificate password is the password set by the certificate customer. It is the password for using a certificate.

Customers with USB-Shield No above transaction limitation, the services of 24-hour large amount transfer/remittance, etc. are provided.

Inquire service is the only service provided for the Customers who register the Internet Banking deposit version. Transfer and payment are banned for them. The self-registered customers can only make the payment on the ICBC authorized special websites. Other transfer and payment are banned for them. After the transaction for Static password customers registered over ICBC Counters reach the total limitation, they should apply for an E-banking Code Card or USB-Shield to make further internet transfer/payment.
Self-registered customers, and Static password customers registered over ICBC Counters or E-banking Code Card customers should follow the specific transaction limitation regulation set by ICBC when they make the payment on ICBC authorized special websites.

Article VII Transaction Fees
A customer should pay service fee for Internet Banking service according to standards published on ICBC website "Announcement".

Article VIII Risk Reminder
Customers should notice the following main security problems while using Internet Banking.
1. Log in the correct website: Please directly input website address http://www.icbc.com.cn/icbc/default.htm for logging in ICBC website. It is suggested to add ICBC website address to browser Favorites and do not visit ICBC website by indirect super links. ICBC provides free Reserved Information Verification service. You can set up your reserved information over ICBC counter or log in ICBC Personal Internet Banking to set it in "Customer Service - Customer Information Management--Enquire/Modify Customer Info.". Please keep your reserved information properly and do not respond to any requests for its details from anybody, any other websites, phones or short messages.

2. Keep your account number and password properly. For the security of customer's information and funds, a customer should read Online Security contents on the Website thoroughly. Set password with confidential principle and do not use personal-related information as password such as name, birthday, or telephone number. Do not provide the password to others. Keep the password properly, and change the login password and payment password timely. Do not set the same password for Internet Banking and bank card or other user password on other website. Do not write the password on a piece of paper or a card. Check "last logging time" on the welcome page against the actual logging time so that you can find abnormal situations if any. If you have any doubt or questions, please immediately contact us.

3. Use USB-Shield properly. USB-Shield is an important tool for the Personal Internet Banking security. It should be got from ICBC or the agencies appointed by ICBC. USB-Shield customers should keep USB-shield and certificate password properly. Insert USB-Shield into computer' s USB port as instructed while using Internet Banking service. Unplug the USB-Shield after the system successful messages return. Reset the password at ICBC banking outlets to release frozen certificate if the password is forgotten or the password is inputted wrongly many times.
Never run the Remote Assistance programs of the operation system, MSN, QQ, and etc. while making payment by Internet Banking. Please check the payment amount and the billing amount are correct before confirm the e-shopping payment.

4. Keep E-banking Code Card properly. It should be got from ICBC or the agencies appointed by ICBC. If the cover film or the pattern on the cover film is incomplete or damaged, or the serial number of the Card is not the same with what is printed on the application form, please change a new one on the spot.
Customer with E-banking Code Card should keep it in a safe place in order to prevent loss or being used by others. Please reapply the card at ICBC banking outlet once the Card is lost or damaged. E-banking Code Card can be used for 1,000 times (counted by each successful entry of correct password and verification through system). After that, please reapply the card at ICBC banking outlet. If E-banking Code card's data is disclosed, ICBC will make the E-banking Code Card invalid and inform the customer for the security of the customer's money in the account. The customer can change the card at ICBC banking outlet.
Cover film of the Card that covers the password character zone will all be eventually scratched. Scratched characters are easily recorded by others, so that the security of the dynamic password will be reduced. So a customer should take necessary measure to protect the scratched password characters. It suggested that when over half of the cover films on the Card are scratched, further security protection methods should be taken by the customers. Please apply for a new one when all the cover films on the Card are scratched.

5. Ensure the safety of your computer. Download and install widget provided by ICBC for the security of the card number and password. Regularly download and install the operating system and browser patches or updates. Modify the file "Hosts" in your computer as read-only. Install personal firewall. Install and promptly update anti-virus software. Never open emails from unknown sources.

6. Other necessary protective measures. Never allow any unauthorized person using your computer strictly. Never use Internet Banking at public places (such as Internet bars, public library, etc). Set password for your computer to prevent others to get your information. Please click "Exit" on the right top corner of the webpage to quit the use of Internet Banking after using. Please inform ICBC the changes to your personal information as soon as possible (such as change of contact number, address, etc.).

Article IX Transaction Qualification Freezing
If a customer¨s login password or payment password cannot pass verification for successive 3 times on a same day, the bank will temporarily freeze the Internet Banking transaction qualification for the customer for the day, and the qualification will be resumed automatically on the next day. If the login password or the payment password can not pass the verification for successive 10 times on a same day, the bank will freeze the transaction qualification for Internet Banking. The customer needs to go to ICBC counter to reset the password. If the password for customer of Internet Banking deposit version cannot pass the verification for successive 3 times on a same day, the Internet Banking transaction for the customer will be frozen temporarily for the day and it will be defrosted automatically on the next day. Freezing period for the transaction qualification of Internet Banking will not affect transaction on counter.

Article X Other Transaction Issues
A customer must follow transaction rule formulated by organization such as security exchange when bank-securities link transaction is made.
ICBC will make an announcement in advance if the service will be suspended more than 3 hours due to the upgrade of ICBC website or Internet Banking. Please check the "Announcement" from ICBC website.
Self-registered customer of Internet Banking will be changed as customer registered through Counter after applying for E-banking Code Card or USB-Shield.

Article XI Abnormal Transaction
While Network failure, natural disasters, wars, etc. make the Internet Banking cannot be operated normally; the customers can go to ICBC banking outlets to process business.

Article XII Supplementary Articles of Transaction
Interpretation and modification of the transaction rules is under responsibility of ICBC.
